WHO IS FRS?

06/07/2026 Francis Restaurant School (FRS) — Hospitality & Restaurant Training Center

Francis Restaurant School is a socially oriented vocational education model, built on the DUAL training method of the Federal Republic of Germany, in cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh City College of Technology II and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK). We provide free training in culinary arts and restaurant service to disadvantaged young people, giving them the chance to learn a trade, build a career, and shape a sustainable future.

Over three years of training, students aged 16 to 22 learn not only through books or classroom lessons, but through direct, hands-on practice in a real working environment. That is why we established Francis Hội restaurant as a social business model, where commercial operations and vocational training run side by side. Here, students train directly in an authentic restaurant setting, learning their trade through daily work and gradually developing a professional mindset. What makes this model distinctive is that the restaurant's operations themselves sustain its educational mission: revenue is reinvested into the training program, enabling more young people to receive free vocational education and enter the labor market with a solid trade.

The name Francis Restaurant School draws its inspiration from Saint Francis of Assisi — a symbol of simplicity, compassion, and a life devoted to serving others. These values also inspire us to build an educational environment grounded in respect, kindness, and belief in the potential of every young person.

Our goal goes beyond offering vocational training. We aim to create an environment where students are respected, encouraged to grow, and given the opportunity to shape their own futures. For us, education is not about offering charity — it is about offering opportunity, so that each person can develop their abilities, build confidence, and live a life of value.
